          These new paintings  by local artist and curator Cait Willis are taken from stills off an old  television set. The glitchier and more pix-elated
 the better! Acting as  an armature for the mark, making the pieces ride
 the line between purely  abstract and somewhat figurative. It is not so
 much the images that are  the meaning of this body of work, but instead
 a commentary on choosing  an image to take apart from all the other 
millions of images we are  bombarded with daily.
