Wowie zowie!  I'll cut the small talk and just ask that you check out 
the calendar below.  There's a ton of stuff...there's something for 
everybody....you might want to look over it twice....and print it out 
and put it on the fridge....and give it to friends....and put a copy in

Monktail Creative Music Concern and Seattle Parks and Recreation 
present a day of fun in the newly renovated Cal Anderson Park - 
Performers include: Special Ops, Reptet, Seattle Harmonic Voices, and 
Jesus and the Bobcats.  And there's going to be a bike polo tournament 
for crying out loud!

Monktail put together a special 9 piece band to present those clever 
classic cartoon tunes we all love and never find out who wrote.  
Raymond Scott was a genius - he made amazing music in so many formats 
and it has been used all over the place - but you hardly ever hear his 
name.  Help MCMC honor this amazing composer! (band features Sam 
Boshnack, Beth Fleenor, Izaak Mills, Ben O'Shea, Ben Verdier, Stephen 
Parris, John Seman, Mark Ostrowski, John Ewing) John Hollenbeck's 
Claudia Quintet with Chris Speed play second set.
