It will be glorious!
Hope to see you there.

Priester’s Cue (5/18) features all original music from trombonist /
jazz legend Julian Priester (Herbie Hancock, Sun Ra, Dave Holland) as
well as Dawn Clement, piano (Jane Ira Bloom, Bobby Previte) Geoff
Harper, bass, and Byron Vannoy, drums (Frieze of Life). After 5 decades
of performing with some of the greatest names in jazz, Julian continues
to push forward with his quartet, made up of some of the Northwest’s
most dynamic jazz instrumentalists. The sound of the quartet comes
from the loose and adventuresome spirit of the players who are always
listening and never afraid to let go.

Victor Noriega Trio (5/25) featuring Noriega on piano, Willie Blair,
bass, and Eric Eagle, drums, welcomes Portland-based tenor saxophonist
Tim Wilcox to this very special, intimate performance at 1412. The
quartet will be performing original music by Noriega and Wilcox.
Victor Noriega was recently honored with a 2005 Earshot Golden Ear
Award for Emerging Artist. The trio recently released their second
full-length album, Alay.
