[H&R] Wayne Horvitz and Sweeter Than the Day THIS SUNDAY!

Greetings friends -

Wayne Horvitz and Sweeter Than the Day (with Tim Young, Guitar / Keith 
Lowe, Bass / Andy Roth, Drums) will be performing this Sunday (4.2) at 
the Lab at Seattle Drum School.  If you haven't heard this group, this 
is an excellent chance to check out what NPR calls "a beautiful 
showcase for Horvitz' compositions." This is the first Seattle 
performance from this quartet in years!!!

Sweeter Than the Day has the same personnel as the highly revered Zony 
Mash, however the sound is COMPLETELY different.
The Wire says: "On piano, Horvitz is economical yet lyrical, never 
venturing far from the strong melodic hooks which characterize his 
compositions, but constantly working small surprises.  An irresistible 
antidote to gray days."  They have released two records on the 
Songlines label and a live disc on Kufala Recordings.

So come support live music and give the quartet a strong home show as 
they continue on a west coast tour for the month of April. (For those 
of you outside of Seattle, the other tour dates are below).
